2nd Officer

Summary

• 65m Private/Charter yacht are looking for a seasonal 2^nd officer to join them in the next 2-4 weeks. Position will run from approx. March to September.

• Fantastic program with longstanding relationship with Quay Crew and multiple placements over the years. Busy yacht with a good senior deck team and excellent Captains!

• They are looking for a newly qualified OOW who is keen to gain navigational experience but also happy to muck in on deck and jump in tenders. We are also happy to consider someone coming from a commercial cadetship with an OOW unlimited but must have 1+ years experience on deck onboard yachts!

• Busy program with a mixture of Private and Charter usage – a couple of charters locked in for the Summer already

• They are looking for someone who is motivated, keen to learn and ready to get their head down with a busy season inbound

• Lovely team, good workign environment and plenty of sea time will be accumulated over the Summer

• This is a seasonal role initially, but potentially longer term if a good fit for both parties. Flexible.

• Jet tender driving experience would be advantageous

• On offer is a salary of 5000 Euros, 90 days pro rata, even split of tips – full package TBD during initial calls

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt
