Chief Officer/1st Mate

Summary

• 50m Private/Charter Dual season Motor yacht are looking for a Chief mate to join them ASAP, ideally within the next 2-4 Weeks

• Please note: Vessel is under 500gt to make candidates applying aware

• Must hold a minimum of OOW 3000gt along with B1/B2 Visa - CM 3000 would be advantageous

• The are looking for either an experienced first mate coming from similar size yachts or a strong 2^nd officer looking to step up and gain more responsibility!

• This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a very good Captain in a busy operation with a good mixture of owner usage and charters across dual seasons

• Must have a good knowledge of ISM and be confident with navigation and bridge admin

• Large tender driving skills advantageous as they run with a large chase boat alongside the mother ship

• The boat will be attending multiple charter shows during the Caribbean season and is likely to cruise US/Bahamas during the Summer this year

• Charter experience would be advantageous and a good knowledge of both the Caribbean & Bahamas

• Lovely crew who all work closely together to ensure everything runs smoothly and a very supportive captain

• On offer is a very competitive salary of up to 7500+ Euros along with 60 days leave and even split of tips along with 13^th month bonus

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
