Summary
We are looking for a competent and hands-on Sole Engineer to join a well-maintained 34m private/charter M/Y operating in the Mediterranean.

- The yacht runs a mixed private and charter program, so a strong service mindset and good guest awareness are important alongside solid engineering skills
- Proven experience as Sole Engineer on vessels of similar size
- You will need an SV Chief's or Y3 ticket as a minimum
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, fault finding, and daily engine room operations
- Confident in managing all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work independently and manage maintenance schedules and spares
- Previous charter experience preferred but not essential
- Positive, solution-focused attitude and good communication with captain and crew
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all engineering systems on board
- Planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and liaising with contractors and shipyard
- Supporting yard periods and surveys as required
- Budget awareness and spares management
- Assisting on deck when required during operations
- A package of up to €8,000 with 45 days leave is on offer
- Shared tips during charter
