30m Sailing Yacht – Engineer
A well-maintained 30m sailing yacht is seeking an experienced and motivated Engineer to join a crew of four.
The ideal candidate will be confident, hands-on, and have a minimum of a couple of years’ experience in a similar role. You must be comfortable troubleshooting independently, working with relatively simple systems, and getting involved wherever required. This is a practical, hands-on position that will regularly require physical work, particularly during sailing operations.
The role is closely involved in all sailing activities, including deliveries, racing, manoeuvres, and regattas, so strong sailing ability and a team-focused attitude are essential.
The vessel has an active program, including participation in several regattas this year, as well as confirmed charter periods.
We are looking for an active, passionate individual who prioritises a healthy lifestyle and has a genuine enthusiasm for sailing. The existing crew are fit, energetic, and highly committed to the sailing side of the operation.
Requirements:
- AEC 1 & 2 – mandatory
- Confident engineer with hands-on experience
- Ability to sail and integrate fully with deck operations
