Salary: $6,700/month
We are seeking a qualified and dynamic 2nd Officer (OOW) to join a busy 50m private/charter yacht with a healthy, team-oriented crew culture. This is an incredible opportunity for a recently certified OOW looking to step into a hands-on role and make an impact in a respected, professionally run program.
During the winter months, the owners live onboard while the yacht cruises between Florida and the Bahamas, so we're looking for someone who’s comfortable in an active liveaboard environment. The boat plans to cross the Atlantic in May with a busy summer Mediterranean charter season ahead. Our crew is talented, energetic, and known for bringing extra value to the guest experience — whether that’s DJing, videography, fitness, or watersports.
Requirements
- OOW Unlimited (recently certified welcome)
- Excellent large tender handling skills – must be confident handling a 42ft HCB
- Proficiency in bridge operations and navigational duties
- Charter experience preferred
- Valid STCW, ENG1, PDSD required
Ideal Candidate
- Male (due to cabin arrangements)
- Proven track record of longevity and loyalty
- Positive, drama-free, and strong team player
- Excellent with guest interaction – bonus if you bring additional value (e.g., drone flying, videography, DJ, Music etc.)
- Comfortable with owner liveaboard lifestyle in Florida winters
- Willing to pitch in and contribute across departments where needed
