Fleet Operations & Project Manager (Yachting) – Family Office

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Shore Base Purser / Fleet Manager Assistant to join the family office of a High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI). The role supports the management of a diverse fleet of yachts and works closely with the Nautical Director to build and maintain a strong operational backbone for an organization with many moving parts.
This is a key shore-based position offering broad responsibility, long-term involvement, and direct exposure to ownership decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Nautical Director on the day-to-day and strategic management of the yacht fleet
- Develop and manage technical and operational projects across multiple vessels
- Prepare clear, structured proposals and presentations for ownership
- Support financial oversight, including budgeting, cost tracking, and accounting coordination
- Assist with crew management processes, including planning, coordination, and administrative support
- Help establish, improve, and document internal systems, processes, and workflows
- Act as a central coordination point between yachts, management, suppliers, and advisors
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in yachting, maritime operations, fleet management, or a related technical environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working with financial data, reports, and budgets
- Confident communicator, able to prepare and present professional materials to ownership
- Structured, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
- High level of discretion and professionalism, suited to a private family office environment
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
