ETO NEEDED FOR A 65m+ MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)

Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, the role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and correct operation of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard, ensuring all systems are safe and operating efficiently. This includes carrying out regular maintenance and testing of all electrical and electronic systems such as power generation and distribution, navigation and communication systems (including GMDSS), control and automation systems, as well as lighting, alarm, and monitoring systems. The position requires strong skills in ENEM and GMDSS maintenance, strict adherence to all relevant safety procedures, technical standards, and manufacturer guidelines, and providing hands-on support to the Chief Engineer with the day-to-day operation and upkeep of all vessel machinery and electrical systems.
Minimum of 3 years’ sea-going experience as Electrician/ETO on yachts or vessels 60 meters and above.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION:
- STCW/ENG1
- Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) – STCW Regulation III/6 (Preferred but not essential)
- Minimum of 3 years’ sea-going experience as Electrician/ETO on yachts or vessels 60 meters and above.
