Summary
Reiya Group is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a 40m+ commercial vessel operating in the Mediterranean. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, professional deck officer to lead a small deck team and support smooth vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Captain in overall vessel operations and safety management
- Lead and manage a deck team of 3
- Oversee navigation, bridge operations and watchkeeping duties
- Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS and flag state regulations
- Manage deck maintenance, vessel presentation and safety equipment
- Plan and supervise watersports activities and related equipment
- Support budget management and liaise with shoreside management as required
- Maintain crew training and safety drills
Requirements:
- Minimum OOW 500GT (or higher)
- Proven experience in rank on 40m+ commercial vessels
- Experience managing a deck team
- Extensive watersports experience essential
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Available to start as soon as possible
