Summary
We have a unique opportunity for a Bosun to join a 55m new-build support vessel starting in Mid-February.
- The vessel is scheduled to splash soon and has a busy Mediterranean season ahead, followed by a winter in the Caribbean and the United States.
- The yacht will operate as part of a fleet of similar sized yachts and will be privately run.
- We are looking for a strong Bosun who has ideally worked on a support vessel previously or has experience operating large cranes.
- There will be a significant amount of navigational watch-keeping, so the ideal candidate will hold an OOW qualification or be close to completing it.
- The vessel will carry a small sailing boat onboard, so sailing or rigging experience would be a strong advantage.
- As a support vessel, there will be extensive tender driving, so the Bosun must be very comfortable operating all propulsion types.
- The vessel has an excellent Captain who is highly committed to training and developing crew, providing ample opportunities to drive the mothership.
- The owners are fantastic and take great care of the crew.
- B1B2 would also be beneficial for this position.
On offer is a salary up to $7,000 per month with 38 days of leave.
