Vela Recruitment are looking for a Senior Deckhand with a minimum of one years' yachting experience to join a busy private yacht.
We are looking for someone who is both energetic and knowledgable, with strong tender driving experience. A Yacht Master is the minimum requirement to drive the 12m chase boat.
Start date: 1st February 2026
Package: 3:1 rotation, Salary 3500+ (doe)
Itinerary: Western & Eastern Med, to join in Italy
Responsibilities & attributes required:
1 year+ yachting experience
Strong tender driving and water sports experience
Someone who can hit the ground running
Positive and proactive personality
Team player
Qualifications:
STCW BST
ENG1
Yacht Master (essential)
VISA: Schengen Visa in hand/ EU Passport
