The Role
A well-established private program is seeking a professional, composed Chief Stewardess to oversee and deliver interior service aboard a 50m private motor yacht. This role is ideally suited to a Chief Stew who values discretion, consistency, and a hands-on approach, rather than a heavily administrative or hierarchical structure.
The owners maintain a low-profile, private lifestyle onboard. Summers are active with shorter, more frequent trips (generally up to four guests), alongside one extended cruise. Winter cruising is lighter, with fewer trips typically averaging ten days.
Responsibilities
- Deliver refined, attentive service aligned with the expectations of a private ownership program
- Lead and work alongside the Stewardess in all aspects of interior operations
- Maintain impeccable standards of housekeeping and presentation throughout the vessel
- Manage light administrative duties, inventories, and provisioning with attention to detail
- Ensure onboard safety procedures and service standards are consistently upheld
- Foster a calm, respectful, and professional onboard environment
- Liaise closely with the Captain to support seamless daily operations and owner preferences
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Chief Stewardess on private yachts, or a highly capable Second Stewardess ready to step up
- Naturally discreet, service-driven, and detail-oriented
- Confident in both formal and informal service styles, with an intuitive understanding of owner preferences
- Calm, personable, and professional in demeanor
- Comfortable working within a small, close-knit crew structure
- Interested in long-term continuity within a private program
Package
- Salary: USD 6,000 per month
- Leave: 42 days per year
