Crew Chef – 50m Motor Yacht (Port-based, Viareggio, Italy)
50m private motor yacht is looking for an experienced Crew Chef to join the vessel while she is port-based in Viareggio, Italy.
Position details:
- Role: Crew Chef (crew-only cooking)
- Crew size: 9–11 crew members
- Start: ASAP
- Contract: Until 01 May 2026
Responsibilities:
- Preparing tasty, nutritious and healthy meals for the crew
- Menu planning with focus on balanced, high-quality crew food
- Provisioning, stock control and galley organisation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and order in the galley
- Working independently as the sole chef on board
Candidate profile:
- Previous yacht experience preferred; strong shore-based chefs with the right mindset will be considered
- Ability to cook consistently good-quality crew food
- Well-organised, reliable, clean and self-sufficient
- Comfortable working independently
- English as working language on board
Additional note:
For a strong and suitable candidate, there may be an opportunity to be considered for one future charter season, however the initial position is strictly crew-only and port-based.
