Silver Swan is currently working with a returning UHNW client in Les Gets to assist in hiring an experienced Temporary Chalet Host to support the Chef and the Management Couple we have placed for the winter season. This short-term position runs from 4th February until 24th February 2026 and is ideally suited to a mature, polished hostess with strong housekeeping and service skills.
You will focus primarily on maintaining immaculate housekeeping standards throughout the chalet, alongside delivering refined table service and warm, discreet hosting. Working closely with the existing team, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and luxury guest experience during a busy period.
This is a live-in, temporary role with accommodation and meals provided for the duration of the contract. Please note that candidates must already hold an EU passport or the right to work in France, as visa sponsorship is not available.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards across bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
- Conduct daily room refreshes, linen changes and turndown services
- Ensure all guest areas are consistently pristine, organised and beautifully presented
- Deliver high-quality table service for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner
- Support the Chef during meal service and assist with maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Assist with laundry, linen care and stock rotation
- Prepare the chalet for guest arrivals, ensuring all details meet luxury standards
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and requests
- Support the Management Couple with general hosting duties
- Maintain discretion and a polished, guest-focused approach at all times
Ideal Candidate
- Must hold an EU passport or the right to work in France
- Must hold a valid driving licence
- Strong housekeeping and service background, ideally within chalets or luxury hospitality
- Immaculate attention to detail with high standards of presentation
- Confident delivering refined, professional table service
- Warm, discreet and service-orientated manner
- Flexible, proactive and a strong team player
- Comfortable managing multiple duties during busy periods
- Able to commit fully to the contract dates
Package
- Working schedule: 6 days a week
- Accommodation provided for the duration of the contract
