Rotational Captain – 105ft MY/SY (Private)
A 105ft motor/sailing yacht operating a strictly private program is seeking an experienced Rotational Captain to join the vessel. This is a full 2:2 rotation, offered to the entire crew, providing excellent work–life balance.
The yacht is based year-round in the Mediterranean and is currently undergoing a refit in Barcelona. Planned cruising is still being finalized, but proposed itineraries include Gibraltar, Spain, the British Isles, Denmark, and a return to the Med.
Program & Owners
This is a private program with liveaboard owners onboard approximately 10–11 months of the year. The owners are described as relaxed, realistic, and supportive, with a strong understanding of the yacht’s operational needs, maintenance, and occasional repairs along the way. While hands-on, they maintain reasonable expectations and foster a positive onboard environment.
Role & Requirements
- Proven experience as Captain on vessels of similar size
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Fully engaged with vessel safety systems and procedures
- Familiarity with MMV and compliance with management-implemented safety systems
- Professional, adaptable, and comfortable working closely with liveaboard owners

Compensation
- Salary: USD $7,000 per month
