Summary
We are seeking an experienced deckhand to join a privately operated 50m yacht as Bosun, starting end of January-2026.
The yacht will be based in South Florida until April 2026 before heading up to NY area for the summer season.
Suitable candidates must be professionally competent, motivated, drama-free and confident working in a senior deck role consisting of First Officer, Bosun and Deckhand. Self starter, good eye for detail, and completes projects in an organized and timely manner. Strong deck product knowledge to include ability to apply vessel’s exterior paint scheme to a high finish standard and teak deck caulking.
Vessel operates a large tender and we require the bosun to be able to operate tender competently and professionally when carrying crew and passengers.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in rank as Lead Deckhand/Bosun.
- B1/B2 US Visa
- Must have Yacht Rating Certificate, ideally with RYA Power Boat II Advanced, or Yachtmaster Certificate. RYA PWC Instructor Certificate an advantage.
- Must have valid ENG1 and STCW Basic certificates. Passport must be valid for at least 18 months.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Charter experience preferred
