About:
Busy Private 62m M/Y looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our program.
Will work with two rotating Head Chefs.
The ideal candidate must be motivated, reliable, demonstrate strong baking and pastry skills as well as cake preparation, with solid culinary foundations across multiple international cuisines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef with daily galley operations.
- Take primary responsibility for baking, pastry, and dessert production.
- Prepare healthy, varied crew meals daily, avoiding repetition.
- Independently manage and maintain excellent organization and hygiene standards in dry stores, fridges, and freezers.
- Follow instructions accurately while showing initiative and consistency.
- Contribute positively to a professional and friendly environment onboard.
- Proven experience in baking, pastry, and cake production.
- Knowledge of multiple international cuisine styles.
- Very clean, organized, and detail-oriented working style.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to provision by yourself and drive.
- Motivated to grow and develop within the yachting industry.
