Summary
We are on the hunt for an energetic sous chef to complement our well-established crew onboard.
The vessel is currently in Sth Florida for yard period and will cross to the Med, being the final passage of a 3-year global circumnavigation.
Yacht is available for charters, and owners trips can be fast paced, with a heavy emphasis on diving and beach set-ups.
Candidates need to:
▫️Be culinary trained with solid restaurant experience & references.
▫️Hold a B1/B2 Visa or have right to enter USA.
▫️Be willing and/or have knowledge to assist on deck when required.
▫️Be comfortable in open ocean passages and being docked outside of yachting hubs and hotspots.
▫️Able to cook a varied, wide range of cuisines for 15 international crew, lunch and dinner unassisted when guests onboard.
▫️Assist the head chef with guest preparation cooking, baking, cleaning and provisioning.
▫️Ideally hold or be willing to obtain a Ships Cook Certificate for the yachts commercial status.
▫️Can be new to the industry with high-end hospitality experience, but should have 1-2 years under their belt as sole chef on smaller vessels and wanting to step up to larger.
Role is open to both males and females, preference will be given to candidates in the States or nearby.
