Our ideal candidate is qualified, knowledgeable, organized and efficient, a great communicator, detail oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, hands-on with a professional yet easy-going personality and strong interpersonal and time management skills.
We are searching for an experienced engineer who is passionate about his craft, thrives in an adventurous setting, and enjoys being part of a professional yet relaxed team. We value individuals who are down-to-earth, friendly and with a good sense of humour and with a great sense of common-sense.
There is a 2nd engineer onboard.

Job Title: Chief Engineer
Contract: Full Rotation
Yacht: Private 50m Motor Yacht
Starting date: ASAP
About the program: MED/Dubai
Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, Y2 license or Y3 with engine specific training.
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification:Y2 or Y3 with engine specific training
- Proven experience in marine engineering and maintenance
- Strong technical knowledge of onboard systems
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- A commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards
- Hands-on approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain all engineering systems onboard
- Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of machinery and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Manage the engineering department and delegate tasks effectively
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and operations
- Manage contractors
- Collaborate with other crew members to ensure a seamless yachting experience for those onboard
