Summary
We are seeking a qualified Chief Officer/1st Mate to join an 80m sailing yacht currently undergoing refit in France. The ideal candidate will hold a Master 3000 certification and possess significant experience in large sailing yachts. Responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of crew and vessel, and assisting during the refit period, which is expected to last 12 to 18 months. This role will transition into world cruising operations post-refit, including voyages in challenging areas such as the North West Passage. The position is rotational, and during the yard period, the candidate will have access to a separate apartment. Once the yacht returns to service, cabin sharing will be required.
