Summary
Seeking a Deckhand who is a strong runner to join a 80m M/Y Private. The vessel runs a busy program (standby, frequent weekend trips and other longer trips). As a whole, the crew have a keen interest in keeping fit which is not only part of their down time but also part of the program with owner and guests. All trips are activity centric and involve runs, hikes, cycles and swims which the crew are involved with.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a deckhand on 50m+, be hardworking, physically fit and have strong teamwork skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Must be in tune with operational and safety procedures, have a good understanding of general deck duties and confidence in tender driving.
Itinerary: Winter 2026 Caribbean / Summer 2026: Mediterranean (usually predominately based in Med)
Start Date: end January (tbc)
Compensation Package: Salary: DOE (EUR) / Leave: 90 days per year (unstructured) / 2 return flights per year / Discretionary 13 month bonus
Skills & Attributes
Required Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Deckhand on 50m+ and longevity with prior program(s)
Tender driving experience
Strong Runner (essential - please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement)
Cycling interest is also preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Professional presentation, organised, adaptable, and team-oriented
Qualifications Required
STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
Yacht Master (ideally)
Powerboat L2
Valid Seafarers Medical Certificate
Valid B1/B2 Visa (essential) & Schengen/EU Visa (ideally)
Non-smoker, no visible tattoos
Male candidates only (due to cabin arrangements)
