Summary
We are seeking a skilled Deck/Engineer for a 46m motor yacht currently based in Sint Maarten, with a worldwide cruising itinerary. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience or a minimum of 4 seasons in a similar role, demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of deck maintenance and operations. This position entails a 70% focus on deck duties, collaborating closely with the Bosun, and 30% support for engineering tasks between trips. Candidates must possess AEC 1 and 2 certifications, updated safety certificates, and a valid B1/B2 visa, with Schengen visa eligibility as necessary. Experience in tender driving is essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This is a permanent position with a start date of January 19, and salary will be discussed during the interview process.
