50m+ foreign-flagged private motor yacht seeking temp to permanent Bosun. Temp needed right away, and permanent position available for the right candidate.
Vessel is currently in the yard on the West Coast, USA through March 2026. A strong leader is needed ASAP to finish the yard period. Must have experience with 2 part painting, varnishing, organizing to get the vessel ready and be handy with tools for any needed repairs.
Once the vessel is ready, a permanent, live-ashore Bosun is needed. This is not a busy program, or for someone looking to gain a lot of sea time. Most trips are local and most weekdays will be about 9 AM-4 PM, so perfect for someone who wants a yacht job but also time to have a personal life. Owner is down to earth and self-sufficient, so a high level of service is not a requirement.
Temp position pays monthly with medical and flights included. The permanent position offers monthly pay, medical, flights and typically an annual bonus.
