We are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager / Captain for a high-end sports fishing vessel operating in the Maldives. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of both the operational and guest-facing side of a luxury big game fishing program, catering to superyachts and HNWIs holidaying in the region.
This is a charter-focused fishing operation, with an average of ~75 charter days per year, and strong scope for growth supported by a dedicated marketing budget to develop new business and partnerships.
There is also an opportunity for a Deck/Stew partner to join, making this an ideal role for a couple with complementary skill sets.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall operational management of the vessel and fishing program
- Captaining a 68ft Hatteras sports fishing yacht
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences for UHNW and charter clients
- Running and promoting big game fishing charters to superyachts and resort guests
- Liaising with resorts, yacht agents, and charter partners
- Oversight of safety, maintenance, compliance, and logistics
- Supporting marketing initiatives and actively growing charter activity
Candidate Requirements
- Proven big game fishing experience essential
- Ability and confidence to captain a vessel of this size
- Strong charter background preferred
- Highly guest-focused with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working with HNWIs and superyacht clientele
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business development
- Partner (Deck/Stew) opportunity available for the right couple
