We are currently looking for an experienced Bosun to join a 43m Private Motor Yacht on a permanent position.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Master 200 GT or Yachtmaster Offshore/Coastal
- Proven experience as Bosun on yachts of similar size
- Strong driving experience with a 14m chase boat (essential)
- Excellent tender handling skills in all conditions
- Good knowledge of deck maintenance, paintwork, teak care, anchoring and mooring operations
- Ability to lead, train and supervise deck crew
- High standards of safety, seamanship and professionalism
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Fluent English
Responsibilities
- Daily management and organization of deck operations
- Supervision and training of deck crew
- Maintenance of deck equipment, tenders and water toys
- Safe operation and driving of the 14m chase boat
- Assisting the Chief Officer with safety, drills and procedures
