Yacht:  60 - 65m Motor - Charter/Private 

Start date : end of January 

Itinerary:  US, Bahamas/Caribbean  - Med 

License Requirements:  III/1(MN) or III/2(Y3) -over 750 KW - OICEW.

  

Requirements: 

STCW+ refresher as needed

ENG1

Schengen if needed for Caribbean, Europe. 

B1/B2 for US

Covid vaccination

 

Excellent engineering skills 

Good communicator - positive reinforcement 

Outgoing and professional demeanor

Friendly and happy personality

 

Minimum of 1+ years yachting experience. Ideally 3+. 

SDB, and CAT training is a plus! 

Hands-on engineering with working knowledge of systems: Diesels, AC, Electrical, Hydraulics, AV/IT troubleshooting, tender maintenance and mechanical diagnosis and repair, inventory control, vessel management software, Class and regulatory compliance, general cleaning, polishing and painting. Ability to work with Two rotating Chief Engineers and follow their direction. 

 

PREFERENCES: non smoker, no visible tattoos, fit and healthy lifestyle. Light drinkers. 

Responsibilities:  2nd Engineer  ISM, MLC compliant regulations.  

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. Paid in US dollars. 

Package: TBA  - commercially registered. Adheres to MLC 2006 guidelines. SEA offers 60+ days paid leave and $2500 annual flight allowance
