Position Snapshot
• USD $5,500–$7,000 /month (DOE) + leave + return flights
• Managing fulltime 2nd stew
• Start: 1st February
• Live onboard or ashore (preferably onboard)
A high profile Private MY that maintains a permanent base on the Gold Coast is on the search for an experienced chief stewardess to join their fun and professional team.
The vessel is likely to embark on short trips in 2026, with possibilities for Whitsundays, Fiji or NZ but will always return to the Gold Coast as home port or between trips.
Most of the year the vessel will reside on the Gold Coast
The Chief Stew works closely with the head chef and owners PA’s to help deliver a memorable experience for the owner and occasional guests (low guest numbers)
The chief stewardess will largely have autonomy in the role to own their own department.
Relaxed crew environment onboard but with a high standard of professionalism with an owner who also enjoys being social with the crew on occasion.
The vessel is open to flying the right candidate abroad and may consider a long-term sponsorship option for foreign candidates

• Sole or chief stew experience, or 2nd stew on larger vessels
• Friendly management style
• Strong service and housekeeping skills
• Values a fun and active crew environment
• Compassionate and good natured
• Time in Europe / US on superyachts favourable
• STCW
Cabins: Shared with 2nd stew
Leave: Industry standard + accrued time off (non-rotational)
Start: 1st Feb
Salary: USD $5,500–$7,000/month (DOE) + leave + return flights
