First Mate – 38m Dutch New Build | Cayman Islands Flag | Private & Charter
We are seeking a strong, hands-on First Mate for a stunning 38m Dutch new-build, Cayman Islands flagged, operating both privately and on charter. Two charters are already confirmed for 2026, with consistent charter interest.
Suited to an active First Mate who leads by example, sets high standards and supports smooth day-to-day operations across both the mothership and chase boat.
The vessel runs with 7 crew, plus a 37ft chase boat/tender operated by an 8th crew member who resides onboard the mothership during private use and downtime. The First Mate will play an integral role in deck operations and assist with chase boat coordination and operations as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Yachtmaster Offshore (required)
Proven experience as First Mate on similar-size vessels
Planned Itinerary (2026/2027):
Caribbean, Bahamas, and US East Coast
Return to the Mediterranean via Dockwise late 2026 / early 2027, followed by a Med season and warranty shipyard period.
