Summary
Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Chief Stew to join a 100m+ Private/Charter Yacht
Start Date:
Early to mid-January 2026
Location of Vessel:
The Netherlands (currently in shipyard until May 2026)
Contract:
Permanent rotational position
Salary & Leave:
DOE
2:2 rotation
Visa Requirements:
- Schengen visa required for non-EU crew
- Valid B1/B2 visa is an advantage but not essential
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as Chief Stew
- Experience on 70m+ vessels essential
Required Qualifications / Certificates:
- STCW
- ENG1
Vessel Information:
- 100m+ private/charter yacht
- Currently in shipyard until May 2026
- Dual season program
Requirements:
- Strong, confident leadership style
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a large interior team
- Professional, calm, and team-oriented approach
Other Information:
- Yard period focus until May 2026
- Preparation for upcoming charter and owner operations post-yard
