Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Rotational Second Engineer for a 66m Charter Yacht
Position: Rotational Second Engineer
Yacht: 66m Charter Yacht (Northern European build)
Start Date: TBC (Shipyard for winter)
Salary: €6,000 pcm
Leave: 10:10 rotation
Cabin: Own cabin
Qualifications:
- SV Chief Engineer <9000kW <3000GT (Y2) or
- Second Engineer Unlimited
Requirements:
- Motivated self-starter with strong hands-on mechanical skills
- Previous yacht experience preferred
- Watchkeeping duties as well as planned and reactive maintenance
- Experience with maintenance and repair tasks
- Electrical and AV/IT skills are an advantage
- All certification and documentation up to date
Other:
- Busy dual-season charter/private yacht
- Currently in shipyard for winter period undergoing repaint and Class Special Survey works
- Normal schedule consists of an active dual-season charter programme
