Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Head of Housekeeping to join an 80m Private/Charter Yacht

Permanent rotational position
Salary:
Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
Leave:
2:1 rotation
Please note: the first rotation may differ due to current operational scheduling around owner trips. Flexibility is required initially.
Visa:
Valid B1/B2 visa in hand is required
OR proof of an immediate appointment in the candidate’s local area (timing is very tight)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as Head of Housekeeper or proven experience running an interior department
- Candidates may also be considered from:
- Second or Third Stew roles on smaller vessels (size dependent)
- Lead Housekeepers ready to step up, provided references clearly support readiness for progression
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment care, and interior maintenance
- Highly organised with experience in administrative duties
- Confident managing and supporting a team (even a small team)
- Professional, calm leadership style with no big egos
- Ability to slot into an established program, maintaining consistency for the interior team
- Open to implementing personal improvements once familiar with existing systems
- Demonstrated longevity in previous roles is highly desirable
Other Information:
- Potential charter in February
- Owners’ trips scheduled
- Mediterranean season planned for the summer
