An exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join a prestigious estate on a private island. This is a permanent, long-term role suited to a confident, personable chef who enjoys working at a high-level while being part of a close-knit, international team.
The estate is a private retreat for the homeowners, who come to enjoy the beautiful surroundings alongside their friends and family. When not in personal use, the property is also rented to a small number of exclusive UHNW guests seeking privacy, discretion and a truly exceptional island experience.

Package: Competitive salary with food, accommodation, and housing allowance included. One return flight per year, on-site transport, plus service charge and tips paid on top when the estate is rented. Work permit support provided.

About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding Head Chef role for someone who enjoys cooking beautiful, well-balanced food in a relaxed yet high-standard private setting. The cuisine is international with Mediterranean and healthy influences, including fresh, wellness-inspired dishes and thoughtfully prepared desserts. Menus should feel seasonal, creative, and adaptable, with the freedom to design theme nights and special dining experiences to suit different tastes and occasions.
The ideal candidate is a confident, approachable chef who enjoys being part of the guest experience and takes pride in presentation, flavour, and consistency. You should be comfortable adapting your style to different cultures and preferences and enjoy working in an environment where quality, flexibility, and clear communication are key.
You will lead the kitchen in a positive, organised and supportive way, helping to create a calm and enjoyable working atmosphere. Responsibilities include menu planning, ordering, stock control and maintaining high hygiene standards while keeping food costs sensible and well managed. You’ll work closely with the Estate and Operations Managers to ensure smooth daily operations and well-coordinated service across the estate.
