Chief ETO (CETO)

Summary

Rotational Chief ETO – Private 100m+ M/Y

•             Start:            January 20^th 2026

•             Location:    Europe / Middle East

•             Package:     Salary in Euros, 176 days leave

Experience and attributes required:

•             Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CETO on yachts over 100m, or alternatively 5 years’ experience as a 1st ETO on cruise ships. 

•             Proven record of refit experience on large yachts/cruise ships 

•             High voltage certificate

•                  Strong proficiency in maintenance of HVAC systems and  associated equipment

•             Proficiency in the maintenance of low-voltage distribution systems

•             Experience with high-voltage distribution systems and associated  equipment

•             Familiarity with ABB Azipod systems and related equipment

•             Hands-on in general engineering tasks

•             Strong working knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems (IDEA / AMOS)

•                  Familiarity with AV/IT systems and associated maintenance Previous experience within the cruise ship sector is considered an  advantage

Qualifications required:

•             Electrotechnical school/college or university

•             STCW ETO III/6

•             STCW updated

•             Seafarer Medical Certificate

•             Seaman Discharge Book
