Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations on a 49-meter motor yacht based in France. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a diverse menu that meets the dietary preferences of guests and crew, while managing a team of culinary staff. Key responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation, managing inventory and supplies, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-end culinary environments, a proven track record of leadership in a kitchen setting, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic maritime environment. A strong knowledge of Mediterranean and North American cuisine and experience with menu planning for various dietary requirements will be essential. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work with alongside a crew chef within a dedicated crew of 12 while cruising the Mediterranean.
