Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 4 months on and 2 months off. 

Certificates: STCW, Valid Seafarer's Medical, Food & Hygiene L2. Covid vaccinated with a booster

Job Description:

  • Reports to the Head Chef and Second Chef
  • Supports the kitchen team with operational duties
  • Will be required to assist with additional duties such as cleaning and loading

Culinary and other Skills Required:

  • Excellent skills in European & Mediterranean cuisine 
  • Basic knowledge of other cuisines
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions
  • Fluent English is a must

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotels or on large passenger ships

Other: Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements. 

Salary: 4,000 EUR per month. Flights and medical insurance. 

Package: 4 months on :2 months off rotation paid 12 months a year

Other: Cabin sharing with 2 or 4 people depending on boat operations

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
  • ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
Food & Hygiene Qualifications
  • Food Hygiene (HABC Level 2)
