Bosun required for a temporary contract, approximately 1 month.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bosun to join our professional crew on a well-run commercial yacht. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and confident leading deck operations while maintaining high standards of seamanship and guest presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the deck team in daily operations
- Maintain exterior of the vessel to a high standard (cleaning, polishing, painting)
- Manage deck equipment, tenders, and toys
- Assist with navigation watches and docking operations
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
- Support guest operations and water activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Bosun or Senior Deckhand on commercial yachts
- Valid STCW and ENG1 (or equivalent medical)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of seamanship, knots, anchoring, and tender driving
- Professional attitude and excellent work ethic
Preferred:
- Yachtmaster or equivalent qualification
