Summary
We are seeking a capable and motivated Deckhand to join a 50m+ private, world-cruising yacht with heavy owner usage and an exciting itinerary. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-run vessel with a great crew and supportive owners.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of one full season of yachting experience
- Extensive paint experience is essential
- Strong work ethic with a proactive, hands-on attitude
- Ability to follow direction while also taking initiative
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining presentation standards
- Professional demeanour and strong team player
- B1/B2 visa must be in hand
Role Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all exterior maintenance with a strong focus on paintwork
- Assisting with washdowns, detailing and general deck upkeep
- Driving tenders confidently and assisting with guest transfers
- Setting up, operating and maintaining watersports equipment and activities
- Supporting docking, line handling and tender operations
- Participating in watches and deck operations as required
- Maintaining deck equipment to a high standard
- Ensuring the yacht is presented immaculately at all times, particularly during owner trips
