Worthy Management is seeking an experienced Sole Engineer for a well-run 37m expedition motor yacht with a crew of 7. Privately owned by lovely American owners, the vessel runs a busy, owner-onboard program focused on remote and adventurous cruising.
This role suits a hands-on, self-sufficient engineer confident operating independently in remote locations and maintaining all systems to a high standard. A fit, active candidate who enjoys exploration is strongly preferred.
Systems
MAN main engines (DEF), Kohler gens, CMC stabilizers, Spot Zero watermakers, Tecnomar sewage.
Requirements
• STCW 95/10
• ENG1 (or equivalent)
• Y4 or higher essential
• Sole engineer experience
• English as first language
• Non-smoker only
• Low-drama, easygoing personality
Rotation
• 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off
Itinerary
• South Pacific (Fiji, Vanuatu, Marshalls) with Japan/Asia next season
Start Date
• Late January 2026
Salary
• 7,000 USD during probation
• 7,500 USD upon completion
• Dependent on experience and tickets (TBD at interview)
