Chef Position (Couple with Captain Preferred)
16m Sailing Catamaran | British Virgin Islands
We are seeking an experienced, creative and guest-focused Chef, ideally applying as part of a Captain/Chef couple, to join a 16m sailing catamaran operating exclusively in the British Virgin Islands.
The start date is flexible within the next three months. The vessel has confirmed charter bookings for the upcoming season, offering a busy schedule and strong, consistent tip potential. The yacht operates with two crew and accommodates up to eight guests.
The Chef will be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, along with provisioning, menu planning, and maintaining a clean and organized galley. The ability to cater to a variety of dietary preferences and deliver a high standard of presentation and service is essential. A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication with guests and the Captain are key to success in this role.
This is a seasonal position, typically running from November through mid-July with a monthly salary of USD 3,000 (DOE). Flight credit to and from the vessel is open to discussion, as are leave days. Due to the vessel’s existing charter schedule, strong and consistent tips can be expected.
