Summary

Position: Chief Officer

Vessel: 50m Private Motor Yacht

Location: Florida 2025 / Mediterranean 2026

Rotation: No rotation- full-time

Salary: Competitive Salary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safe operation of the yacht and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
  • Manage deck operations, including maintenance, safety procedures, and crew training.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Captain and the crew, ensuring effective communication.
  • Supervise tender operations and manage water sports activities.
  • Maintain inventory and oversee deck maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in planning and executing itineraries in the Mediterranean.

Licenses:

  • Chief Mate 500GT Master – Valid and up-to-date.
  • STCW  – Current certification.
  • ENG1 Medical Certificate – Valid
  • Visas B1/B2 & or Schengen

Skills:

  • Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead a team, train crew, and maintain high morale.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively convey information and instructions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in computers and yacht management software (e.g., MLC compliance, maintenance tracking).
  • Navigation & Seamanship: Extensive knowledge of navigation, weather patterns, and maritime laws.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle emergencies and unexpected challenges with composure.
  • Customer Service: Experience in guest relations, ensuring a luxurious and enjoyable experience.

Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response planning.
  • Proficient in inventory management and procurement for yacht supplies.
  • Knowledge of maintenance standards for yachts, including safety equipment.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a beautiful 50m private motor yacht in the 2026 Mediterranean, providing an enriching experience alongside a dedicated team throughout the season.
