TYS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Rotational Chief Stew to join a private/ charter 85m+ M/Y.

We are seeking a strong Chief Stewardess with at least two years of experience on 70m+ charter vessels, demonstrating longevity and charter expertise in their previous roles.
Key Requirement: Must have experience leading a large department (current interior team size is 12) and be confident with APA procedures.
This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins of a successful program, replacing a longstanding Chief Stewardess who was with the owners for several years. The ideal candidate will be confident, compassionate, and lead with kindness, with a strong focus on training and mentoring the interior team. This role is highly administrative, so strong organisational and administrative skills are essential, along with excellent leadership and management abilities. Strong APA experience and charter knowledge are mandatory. The role requires confidence in leading and collaborating with the Head of Service and the Head of Housekeeping to execute large-scale themed nights.
The vessel has excellent owners who have built strong relationships with the crew. Their trips are typically short (less than a week) and focused on charters, with charters prioritised over owner trips.
The yacht is currently in the Caribbean for charters. Following the winter season, the boat will return to the Mediterranean for a busy 2026 Med charter season, with four repeat clients confirmed (some of whom will be on their 3rd summer season charter). You will be joining a great team that prioritises kindness and empathy and gets along exceptionally well.
