Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bosun to join our team on a 60m vessel based in the United States, with operations primarily in the Caribbean Sea until the 1st of March 2026. The Bosun will be responsible for supervising the deck crew, ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the vessel's exterior, and assisting with the safe operation of all deck equipment. Key responsibilities include managing deck operations, maintaining safety protocols, and organizing routine maintenance tasks. You will work closely with the 2nd and Chief Officers to ensure smooth operations and the highest quality of guest service.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, relevant certifications, and a solid background in deck operations on similar vessels. Experience in managing a team and a proactive approach to problem-solving are benefitial. The position is permanent, and applicants should be prepared for a dynamic work environment with a commitment to safety and excellence in service.
Good knowledge of all deck products, deck maintenance and the ability to ask questions if unsure of anything are important for the role. Good tender driving experience on large tenders is required.
