Summary
A 41m New Build Motor Yacht, recently launched and completed a Med season is now going into their first charter season in the Carribean and are looking for a Chase Boat Captain. No previous chase boat captain experience required, however would be suited for a newly qualified OOW or Bosun with EXTENSIVE large tender driving experience (Support Vessel style tender driving - not just every few days). Would also potentially consider a lead hand from a support style yacht due to tender handling experience. Tender is currently a 44ft Midnight Express and a 53ft Wajer in the near future. You will be living on the tender.
You will be fully responsible for the chase boat however that is not your entire role entirely, you will also be required to assist on deck when needed, if you have your OOW you can assist in the bridge too. Great program to grow and learn in as the captain and chief officer are big on training. This is a dynamic, fast paced, well run environment with a lot of potential for charter tips with the first charter already confirmed.
This is a MLC commercially compliant yacht engaged in trade running a mini ISM.
Total crew of 11. Deck crew consisting of 5, being the Chief Officer, Bosun, 2x Deckhands and a Chase Boat Captain/2nd OOW. This is a loving, kind, unegotistical and fun crew, who are all into their fitness, music, sport and health. The owner is big on fitness too. The sets of additional skillsets currently onboard are DJing, Videography, Photography, Diving, Fishing, Personal Training, Golf Trainer amongst others. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual thet can have fun too, ideally with some additional skillset that could add to a charter program.
