Summary
We are searching for a replacement 1st Mate onboard to take over on our 35 Metre charter vessel that is currently wintering in North Italy whilst awaiting the potential sale of the vessel. Previous seasons have seen heavy charter use and equires for next summer will have the vessel busy all seaon across the mediterrainean.
Duties will include general upkeep of the exterior and 11M chase vessel. Some bridge activities will also be allocated but this is a deck role primarily as you will be the sole deck person during the winter with a deckhand joining in preparation for the season. An AEC qualification would also be strongly preferred although not essential for a candidate with other strong skills. Yachtmaster Offshore is a must to be considered and at least 2-3 years of deck experience for this role.
We have a Multinational crew onboard but clear english is essential. You must have either a schengen or meet EU visa requirements and a B1/B2 would be preferred although again not essential. We are open to either male or female candidates for this role. Leave will be 55 days per year. Training requirements can also be discussed.
