Summary
A single season heavy use charter vessel is searching for a strong deckhand to oversee the winter maintenance of the vessel. We are looking for a candidate with at least a year of legnthy experience onboard a vessel above 35 Meters. Must be good at self organisation as you will be the sole deck member during the winter. Based on performance this could then turn into a Mate position for the summer.
The vessel will be based in Imperia for the winter and has some small shipyard works planned for the Spring with the start of the season being in May.
You must also have good tender handling skills as the vessel tows a large 11 Metre tender. Yachtmaster or Yacht Rating certificate is a nessecity and an AEC would also be a useful qualification.
42 days leave are on offer per year and the vessel runs as a full MLC compliant, managed vessel. Must have either an EU passport or schengen area visa/exemption. B1/B2 would be useful but not essential.
