REQUIREMENTS:
We are seeking a highly experienced Captain to lead a very busy private vessel operating on a dual-season itinerary. This role requires a Master Unlimited licence and a proven track record commanding large yachts in worldwide cruising programmes. Strong leadership, operational oversight, and exceptional safety standards are essential. This is not a step-up role, candidates must bring solid, long-standing experience at Captain level on similar-sized vessels.
About the Role:
You will lead the yacht’s full operation, ensuring the highest level of safety, professionalism, and service across all departments. Working closely with the Owner’s team and senior management, you’ll oversee navigation, compliance, crew management, maintenance planning, and all operational decisions.
The vessel runs at a fast pace with evolving plans, and the Captain must be confident steering a dynamic programme, anticipating changes, and staying consistently ahead of the operation.
About You:
- Master Unlimited (mandatory)
- Extensive experience as Captain on 100m+ motor yachts or similar large vessels
- Strong history managing worldwide cruising programmes and complex operations
- Highly organised, decisive, and calm under pressure
- Confident leading a large, diverse, multinational crew
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative leadership style
- Professional, solutions-focused, and adaptable in fast-changing situations
