About the Role
The Financial & Administrative Support professional will work closely with the Principals and Household Management Team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on financial oversight, reporting, and administrative coordination.
This role suits someone who thrives in a structured environment, handles sensitive information with absolute discretion, and enjoys being the “go-to” person for organisation, accuracy, and efficient systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing household and personal budgets, monitoring spend, and producing monthly/quarterly financial reports.
- Processing invoices, payments, purchase orders, and expense claims with accuracy.
- Liaising with accountants, banks, tax advisors, and other financial professionals.
- Maintaining well-organised digital and physical filing systems for financial, legal, and household documents.
- Assisting with insurance renewals, vendor contracts, and household policies.
- Supporting the team with diary management, correspondence, travel arrangements, and overseeing suppliers when needed.
- Assisting with staff payroll, timesheets, onboarding files, and general HR administration.
- Maintaining total confidentiality when handling personal and financial matters.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong background in finance, bookkeeping, administration, or operations.
- Experience within a private household, family office, boutique finance firm, or superyacht.
- Exceptional Excel and IT skills; accounting software experience is ideal.
- Impeccable organisation, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- A proactive, flexible, and calm approach.
- Absolute discretion and the ability to manage sensitive information professionally.
- Highly desirable:
- Purser experience
- Chief Steward/Stewardess with accounting, budget tracking, or crew payroll responsibilities
- Experience running financial and administrative systems on large yachts
Package
- £50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
- Discretionary bonuses
