Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated 1st Officer to join a prestigious private 100m+ motor yacht with an exciting world-cruising programme. The vessel is currently in the Caribbean until mid-January before heading to Northern Italy for its 10-year refit period, which is expected to last around three months. Following the refit, the yacht will complete a Mediterranean season before continuing its tradition of travelling further afield as part of a wider programme.
The Captain is British, well-liked, and known for running a supportive and professional vessel. The crew is highly multinational, creating a vibrant, positive, and team-focused atmosphere on board. The deck department runs with a Chief Officer, 1st Officer, 2nd Officer, 3rd Officer, Bosun, and six Deckhands, offering a well-structured and dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will bring solid experience as an OOW or 2nd Officer on 80m+ vessels, with strong leadership, bridge management, and administrative abilities. Confidence in tender operations, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard across the deck team are essential. Candidates should hold Chief Mate Unlimited or Master 3000GT qualifications.
