Summary
Seeking a fantastic Stewardess / Hairdresser to join this amazing 80m+ hard-working private AND charter yacht's crew. The vessel will be used by owners and charter guests, and will be busy. A dual season program with excellent Captains and HODs alike. Winter itinerary TBC. SUmmers are spent in the Mediterranean.
Female applicants only, due to cabin-share situation.
Non smokers only. No visible tattoos. If you have a tattoo, it must be hidden in uniform or be able to be properly covered.
Training budget incorporated into package. Salary to be discussed at interview stages.
Someone with at least one solid season on her CV (not less than 6 months on ONE yacht), but preferably longer, aboard a MY of at least 50m+ (WITH GUEST FACING EXPERIENCE). Please do not apply if your experience is purely yard based, off 'guest off' phases. Drama-free, up-beat individuals only, need apply. Outstanding references are required (and WILL be thoroughly verified).
Candidate must be strong in both housekeeping, as this will be a dual role - The ratio will be approximately 80:20 HK to hairdressing. There is a beautiful salon / spa onboard. Must be confident in giving haircuts, in styling, blow-drying, and colouring (for men and women). There is another hairdresser onboard, so this role has essentially been created to cover the periods when the other hairdresser in on her rotational leave. A self-starter who is able to add value to the team and also happy to use initiative and work alone. A strong crew member who will give great support to the HOD and department. Any relevant additional skills are always welcome and beneficial. This will not be a service role. The chosen applicant will be a member of the housekeeping department, with occasional hairdressing duties. The crew all helo one another out, so flexibility and a willingness to chip in, is part of the yacht's DNA.
This is a yacht to stay on, for the long-term, so if longevity isn't your goal / aim, please don't apply.
