Summary
Chief stewardess required for this fantastic 70m+ charter and privately run yacht with an amazing crew. The yacht needs a professional, calm, hard working, capable, skilled manager 'people person', with positive energy and a nice sense of humour.
Must have at least 5 years + onboard Superyachts, and proven longevity in a similar role (and sized yacht). MUST have experience managing shipyard phase and as an operational charter Chief Stewardess. Excellent knowledge in all aspects of running a super yacht team and interior. Must be someone who has worked her way up through the ranks and earned her stripes, and therefore understands all levels of her own department and workforce’s responsibilities. A candidate who is fit and active, and perfectly at ease in a guest-facing role.
Successful applicant will be a fantastic communicator with strong organisational and time-keeping skills, who leads her team with kindness, and by example. This is not a solely 'behind the desk' position. It is an active role so needs someone who can work at a good pace. The outgoing Chief Stewardess onboard has history, incredible longevity and great systems in place, so it would be a case of stepping into big shoes, within a well-oiled machine.
Must boast excellent knowledge in all areas of service, and be able to train the team with confidence. These areas of expertise should, of course, stretch beyond food, and into Mixology, Wine, Coffee service, Cigar service, etc. The candidate should have an interest and thorough comprehension of various cuisine types, and how to serve accordingly. Must be knowledgeable on how to run a meticulous superyacht interior, including having an in depth understanding on how to care for and maintain all surfaces & fabrics. The yacht is currently undergoing a refit / yard phase, so the Winter season will not be 'guest on'. The summer 26' season will be up and running as usual.
Additional shore-based hospitality experience would be a huge plus. Only those with outstanding references need apply. Salary to be discussed at interview stages.
Shared cabin, so must be a female candidate.
Driver’s license is a must.
No visible tattoos. No smoking or vaping.
All essential visas and certificates must be valid and in good order for a European point of embarkation.
PLEASE do NOT apply if the above does NOT describe you, or if you are NOT available for the required January start date.
