TEMP CREW CHEF REQUIRED FOR 50M MOTOR YACHT

Contract: Temporary (Approx. 4 months) Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Start Date: Monday, 1st December
Salary: €3500 per month DOE
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Temporary Crew Chef to support a 50m motor yacht over the winter period. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or junior chef who’s looking to gain solid yachting experience in a professional environment.
The role is focused purely on crew meals for a crew of 3-5, with a simple brief — fresh, healthy, and well-balanced food, cooked with care and good flavour. The ideal candidate is calm, positive, and reliable, with good organisation and a genuine passion for cooking.
You’ll be joining a structured, experienced program run to high standards, with an excellent crew culture and strong leadership across departments. While the galley expectations are straightforward, attention to quality and cleanliness is essential.
This position is perfect for a chef looking to make their first step into yachting or for someone between long-term roles who enjoys keeping busy and working in a friendly, down-to-earth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver healthy, varied crew meals for 3-5 crew (lunch and dinner).Plan weekly menus and manage provisioning efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised galley to the highest hygiene standards.
• Manage budgets and stock levels responsibly.
• Ensure positive communication and collaboration across all departments.
Requirements:
• Culinary background with professional kitchen or yacht experience preferred.
• Passion for fresh, balanced, and flavourful cuisine.
• Confident cooking solo and managing galley logistics.
• Valid STCW, ENG1, and Food Safety Level 2.
• Positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to delight crew
• Fluent English and excellent references.
